Campus Engineering Veurne has worked on the project "STEAM up for an inclusive Furnes" in collaboration with the municipality of Furnes, West Flanders province, and an Erasmus project to create an inclusive walking tour through the city.
Currently, this route includes about a dozen brief explanations of points of interest. It spans approximately 2.3 km. We are also actively working on integrating tactile models and two games accessible to deaf, blind, or wheelchair-bound individuals. The tactile models are currently located in the old town hall of Furnes, in the market square.
