AzureThe Isabellapolder Walking Route (10 km) takes us through the open space of the Creek Area. We start at café 't Spoor, one and a half kilometers outside the village center of Boekhoute. In the landscape, dikes and creeks are the traces of a centuries-long struggle against the sea. Names such as Graafjansdijk, Landsdijk, Noorddijk and Isabellapolder refer to the difficult reclamation of the area, which is barely a few meters above sea level. The route of the Isabellapolder Wandelrout is suitable for wheelchairs and prams.
