This Pajottenland-Vlaamse Ardennen Motor Route is definitely one of my top 3 routes that I rode in 2026.
The small narrow winding paths do not allow you to gain speed, but rather let you enjoy the hills and balls of Pajottenland and the Vlaamse Ardennen even more.
There are many highlights, but if we have to limit it to 3, I choose the following:
- The Chartreuse Church of Lierde with the adjacent local café
- 't Burreken where the route curls through the beautiful classified landscape of the Vlaamse Ardennen
- The Village Square of Hemelveerdegem
But the highlights come in quick succession. Check the many POIs along the route.
