Just over the border in Mol, a blue loop departs from Ecocentrum De Goren that immediately draws you into the heart of the Kempen water world. The route promises a lot: ponds, heath, canal, land dunes, and marsh forests. You find yourself in the landscape of the Molse Meren, an area shaped by centuries of peat, sand, and reed extraction. What was once poor sandy soil has today become a water-rich mosaic of lakes, canals, and unexpectedly much life.
