The nature walk of the Gordelfestival!
But first, we go through the village, then over the small streets and the new development area in Hofstade to the beautiful nature reserve 'Vriezenbroek'. The nature reserve was acquired by Natuurpunt in 1998. Their nature guides provide expert explanations about the existing fauna and flora at fixed points during the walk.
The walk runs for a while along the Zenne, then crosses the fields to reach the Barebeek. The catchment area of the Barebeek is followed up to the Leuvenser Vaart.
On the other side lies the Planckendael Zoo. The walk ends at the Bloso Center Hofstade along the Ambrooskasteel and the protected 'Liefkensdreef'.
