Wonderful walk from Oosterlo to Zammel, along Varendonk. Through the Trichelbroek nature reserve and along the banks of the Grote Nete back to the starting point. During wet periods, there is the possibility of muddy sections and floods.

The route also passes by the Sint-Dimpnakapel. The Sint-Dimpnakapel is located on Sint-Gerebernusstraat in Zammel, a district of Geel. According to legend, Saints Dimpna and Gerebernus are said to have lived for several months in a hut in Zammel. Near this hut, a chapel was built in the mid-17th century. This quickly became too small for the many pilgrims who flocked. Therefore, construction of a larger chapel began in 1692, which was extensively renovated and restored in 1780.
