Running track Mastvest

The exhibition district is confined between the Ring, Jan De Voslei, and the magnificent Jan Van Rijswijcklaan. The Mastvest park covers seven hectares and is situated around a large pond with several monumental bridges that have recently been restored. The bridges, designed by architect Van Averbeke, are a remnant of the World Exhibition that took place here in 1930. The Mastvest is a cozy, green retreat in the neighborhood with its large meadows and trees. In addition to the restoration of the stunningly beautiful bridges and a brand new playground for young adventurers, there is also a running track. This runs along the banks of the pond and over the monumental bridges.
