The walk starts in the quiet village centres of Sint-Genesius-Rode and Alsemberg. After that, the landscape becomes more rural. You climb the plateau above the Senne valley and after passing through the Kleetbos, wide panoramas of the Brabant fields make you meditate on the landscapes of yesteryear. At Kleine Hut you reach the Sonian Forest.
The next 13 km you will cross this beautiful forest and pass the many ponds and "delles" that follow one another along Groenendaal and the upper reaches of the Termeulenbeek.
Let yourself be tempted by this tour in any season for a very attractive day of walking in the green lung of Brussels.
