Part of the Meuse Cycle Route. Some of the highlights you surely should have visited are the Museum of Walloon Life, the Grand Curtius and the Sunday market La Batte. Before leaving Liege, a detour by foot on the beautiful slopes of the Citadel is a definite must! Continuing your way further down to Maastricht via Visé, the city of geese, you will find several old guilds museums, the collegiate church Saint-Martin with its treasures and the remarkable natural reserve of the Sint Pietersberg. Scattered in the area, you may still find some remains of the Second World War, amongst them for instance the fort Eben-Emael.
