The original route on the Reisroutes site starts in Waregem. Due to easy parking and accessibility, I have adjusted this route to start in Anzegem. For the "burned down" church of Anzegem, there is a nice parking area to place the car. The Stijn Streuvels route is approximately 48 km long and covers about 257 meters of elevation. Given the quite hilly landscape, it is ideal for E-bikers. However, a seasoned cyclist can also enjoy this trip wonderfully. Industrial (surroundings of Ruien and Waregem) and scenic views alternate nicely. After a possible stop at the church square of Ingooigem at the memorial of Stijn Streuvels, there follows a considerable stretch of well-ridable descending unpaved road. For the rest, the entire route is beautifully paved.
