The former Protestant St. John's Church is a listed desecrated church building in Werl in the district of Soest in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Protestant Christians were a minority in Werl in the 19th century. The congregation used the monastery church and the chapel on the Gänsevöhde as a simultaneous church for its services. However, this led to an uproar among the Catholic population. During a riot in the monastery church, the Protestant church equipment was stolen and carried through the city.
