The Jacobsberg, also known as "Jakobsberg," is a hill about 200 meters high in the southwest of the city of Wuppertal, in the district of Cronenberg.
At the western foot of the mountain, which belongs to the Burgholz State Forest, the Wupper River flows. On the left side of the Wupper, the highway-like state road 74 runs. To the south of the Jacobsberg is the Cronenberg district of Kohlfurth, where the expanded section of L 74 ends. To the west, state road 427 winds in a serpentine manner around the Jacobsberg coming from the district of Cronenberg, and then merges into L 74. A section of L 427 is named Am Jacobsberg.
