The Burg cable car in the Solingen district of Burg an der Wupper in North Rhine-Westphalia mainly serves tourist purposes.
The chairlift operates between the district of Unterburg and the higher district of Oberburg, which features the Bergisch Count's residence, Burg Castle. The cable car crosses the Wupper River and then steeply ascends the Burg Mountain. Over a distance of just under 250 meters, the lift overcomes about 90 meters in elevation.
