The New Hakeburg is a large castle-like mansion in Kleinmachnow, a place south of Berlin. It is located on the Seeberg on the northern side of the Machnower Lake, near the Teltow Canal lock Kleinmachnow, and offers a view over the nature reserve Bäketal.
The owner of the manor and the later New Hakeburg built at another site was the von Hake family.
The most notable members of the von Hake family were the "tall" Hake Hans Christoph Friedrich von Hacke and Hans von Hake, known as Hake von Stülpe. According to legend, he took Tetzel's money chest during a wild winter night in the Golmheide between Luckenwalde and Jüterbog, where Tetzel was coming from Frankfurt, after he had purchased an indulgence certificate for it, which was then stored in the Tetzel chest.
