The Königs Wusterhausen Transmission Museum is a museum located since 1992 on the site of the former transmission facility, the Funkerberg in Königs Wusterhausen. From there, the postal longwave transmitter broadcast a Christmas concert for the first time in Germany on December 22, 1920.
The transmitter museum, opened in 1993, features over 1500 exhibits from transmission technology and, as a special highlight, the transmitter Tegel, which was transported to Königs Wusterhausen in 1948 and is still in working condition.
