Glösa-Draisdorf is a northern district of Chemnitz. The B 107 runs through it, as does the adjacent Furth to the south. The Chemnitz river flows through the smaller district of Draisdorf. This district features the Sechsruthen and Glösaer forests, the "Kohlung," as well as the Chemnitz-Glösa highway junction.
Adjacent municipalities and Chemnitz districts include Auerswalde, Ebersdorf, Furth, Borna-Heinersdorf, and Wittgensdorf.
