The Dronketurm is a free-standing observation tower near Schalkenmehren in the Vulkaneifel district of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Dronketurm is located about 2.5 km south-southeast of the district town of Daun at the highest point of this three-lake area, the Mäuseberg, which rises 561.2 m above sea level southeast of the Gemündener Maar. Approximately 500 m east of the tower lies the Weinfelder Maar and about 1 km southeast is the Schalkenmehrener Maar. The Dronketurm is accessible only via hiking trails. For example, the long-distance hiking trail Eifelsteig, on its 11th stage, leads from Daun over the Mäuseberg past the Dronketurm and further to Manderscheid.
