Ramspau is a parish village in the market municipality of Regenstauf in the district of Regensburg in Bavaria. Until 1978, Ramspau was the seat of the municipality of the same name.
The Ramspau Castle was probably built before the 13th century. In 1312, a knight named "Weichser de Ranspaur" is first documented. Around 1694, the place came into the possession of Count Johann Siegmund Anton Franz von Reisach, who after 1700 had large parts of the castle dismantled and used as building material for a new palace in the valley. The noble estate was last owned by the Barons of Stetten.
