Schnadegang means as much as boundary walk. In order to control the accuracy of the municipal boundary, to clear the markings and to convey the course of the boundaries to new citizens, the Schnade (boundary) was regularly walked. This tradition is still continued today. Start and end the hike with a great view at the gate to the Sauerland over the quarry. On the approximately 17 kilometers along the old village border, more highlights such as the Aabach reservoir, the valley of the Große Aa, the Schützenwiese and the Aa-Platz await you.
