Description by the author

Cambrai is a northern French city about 60 km south of Lille. The city has always been important over the centuries and at a certain point in time it even was the capital of the Nervians towards the end of Roman rule. This rich history is perfectly captured by the route of this walk, which takes you past all the major sights. These are the Porte de Paris, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, the Beffroi de Cambrai, ... And a whole bunch of other gems.
