Paleokastritsa
Paleokastritsa is built around sandy beaches and coves and is surrounded by beautiful green mountains. It is located in a beautiful area and is one of the most popular places in Kerkyra. It was once a paradise place and although here too the tourist developments have been unavoidable, it is still a beautiful place and Paleokastritsa has certainly not lost its charm. The steep wooded slopes and the blue sea with bays and the sandy beaches with clear sea water make this place an ideal holiday destination. There is a good road to Paleokastritsa, which was built by an English high commissioner, who had discovered how beautiful it was.
