Verolengo is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 25 kilometres northeast of Turin.
The origin of the name Verolengo seems to be linked to the numerous pig farms of the territory. According to other interpretations, the verro on the coat of arms was chosen by assonance with the name of the municipality, which would be linked to ancient settlements of the barbarian population of the Eruli . One of the historical associations of the town took its name from the origins of the place.
