The Stramentizzo reservoir is located in the Fleimstal in Italy at an altitude of 787 m a.s.l. Administratively, it is divided between the municipality of Castello-Molina di Fiemme in Trentino and the municipality of Altrei in South Tyrol. The reservoir was completed in 1956 at the site of the village of Stramentizzo, which was replaced by a new settlement of the same name at the eastern end of the water body. Only the portal of the Church of the Guardian Angels remains from the old village.
