PALAZZO FASCIE
We are in front of Palazzo Fascie-Rossi, an architectural work completed in the early twentieth century by engineer Questa at the request of Cavalier Vincenzo Fascie. From the outside, it presents itself as a palace inspired by Coppedé architecture and especially by the McKenzie castle in Genoa. The main figure that catches the eye is the central tower that deviates from the facade's design. This monument is one of the main symbols of Sestri Levante as a cultural hub for citizens: within its halls, it hosts various events including concerts, conferences, and meetings with local authors. It also houses the MuSel "Archaeological Museum and of the City", a museum opened in 2013, aimed at telling the history and culture of Tigullio and Sestri Levante. The museum is divided into a section dedicated to archaeological finds and another dedicated to the city's history from Roman times to the contemporary age. The palace also hosts the civic library.
