Departure from the spacious parking lot of Bourscheid Castle. Follow the BS4 markings. Lovers of public transport can depart from Michelinau station. Then an unmarked access lane will be added.

We did this well-signposted hike on 09.02.2023. It's quite a challenging hike with beautiful views. The walk is best done with the dog, but remember that there is a staircase with steps made of metal mesh. Another photo with Prince with Rita in his arms. The holes in the bars are a little too big for Prins' legs.

To the imposing fortress

Bourscheid Castle dominates the valley, where the Sûre makes one loop after another. You walk along the river, then to the fortress. Once you arrive at the Gringlee viewpoint on the other side of the valley, you will have one of the most impressive views of the Éislek.
