Description by the author

The High Scardus Trail is a long-distance path through the pristine mountain world from Kosovo via Albania to North Macedonia. There are twenty stages. The route leaves the beaten path, and you can take that literally. The literal highlight is the summit of Korab, the highest mountain in Albania and North Macedonia at 2,764 meters. The peak is located right on the border and the flags of both countries fly brotherly from the same mast.
