The beautifully restored synagogue of Enschede is very special. The building with the three domes, a design by the Amsterdam architect K.P.C. de Bazel, reopened in 2004 after a thorough restoration, during which both the exterior and the entire interior were impressively returned to their original state of 1928. Closed on Jewish holidays. Guided tours can be booked upon request, even on days other than Wed. and Sun. Tours and arrangements for groups possible.
