The most striking building in Stolwijk is the Reformed Church, which was built in 1501. The church stands on the foundations of an earlier church, which dates from the years 1375 to 1400. The coat of arms of the old municipality symbolizes the main sources of livelihood in the former seigneury. The coat of arms contains three cheeses, a pound of butter, and a crown.
