Borgweg is a region and hamlet in the province of Groningen in the Netherlands. The region belongs to the municipality of Midden-Groningen. Until January 1, 2018, the municipal boundary of the municipalities of Hoogezand-Sappemeer and Slochteren ran along Borgweg. The houses with odd numbers and the street are considered part of the village of Westerbroek and then belonged to the municipality of Hoogezand-Sappemeer. The houses with even numbers are considered part of the village of Scharmer, which then belonged to the municipality of Slochteren.
