El antiguo pabellón canadiense de la Expo 58 fue reconstruido en Genk como un edificio escolar. En ese momento, se consideraba uno de los edificios escolares más modernos del país. Especialmente el salón de fiestas está muy bien conservado, con el suelo, el techo, las cortinas y los pilares de madera originales. Las paredes todavía están decoradas con las estrellas de la Expo 58. También el sistema de rodillos para las cortinas es original.
