Abolens es un pequeño pueblo en la provincia belga de Lieja y una parte del municipio de Hannuit. El pueblo cuenta con más de 300 habitantes y tiene una superficie de 271 ha. En el territorio de Abolens nacen el Jeker y el Grande Bek.
El pueblo se menciona por primera vez en el año 1250, cuando se escribía como Abolenz, en honor al dios germánico Aboldus. Durante la Revolución Francesa, el pueblo se unió a Poucet. Después de que Abolens recuperara su independencia, en 1822 se reagrupó con el pueblo de Lens-Saint-Remy. En 1881, Abolens volvería a independizarse de esta aldea.
