Esta vivienda es un ejemplar muy ornamental. El arquitecto es un bruselense, Symons. La casa fue construida en 1921, según un diseño anterior. Aunque hay algunas referencias al estilo cottage, aquí no se puede hablar de una auténtica cabaña.
'La Josette', como se llama la vivienda, tiene más que eso. Así, los marcos de puertas y ventanas, los óvalos en el primer piso y el diseño de la estructura falsa de la bay window hacen referencia al art nouveau.
Desde 2001, esta casa de ciudadanos está incluida en la lista de monumentos protegidos.
