La iglesia de San Lorenzo es una iglesia neogótica de ladrillo construida en 1922 según un diseño de Henri Carbon y Henri Pil de Ostende. Estos arquitectos también se encargaron del diseño del mobiliario.
Para optimizar la accesibilidad, se decidió, en contra de la convención, orientar la entrada hacia la Avenida Westendelaan y no, como es habitual, con el coro orientado hacia el este.
El interior está sin enlucir, lo que le da al conjunto una apariencia sobria y elegante.
En el coro hay una vidriera que representa los Siete Sacramentos. Fue fabricada por la casa Desmet de Brujas.
