Beeltjens
Los Beeltjens se pueden considerar el jardín trasero de Westerlo. Especialmente durante el fin de semana, los caminantes y corredores disfrutan de la naturaleza y el paisaje. Es muy típico el patrón de los senderos en forma de estrella. Los primeros senderos fueron creados a principios del siglo XVIII por Jan Philips Eugeen de Merode. Los Beeltjens son especialmente conocidos por la gran variedad de coníferas y árboles de hoja caduca. Aquí se encuentra también el punto más alto del municipio, el Asberg, una duna de arena de 24 metros de altura. En la prehistoria, la colina se habría utilizado como cementerio. Cuando en 1860 se excavó parte de la colina, se encontraron urnas con cenizas de cremaciones.
