El Wik es desde 1947 un área natural protegida en el este del Dominio Provincial de Bokrijk en la provincia belga de Limburgo. Tiene una superficie de 110 hectáreas con diecinueve estanques y es gestionado por Natuurpunt. El Wik solo puede ser visitado bajo la guía de un guía. En 1252, el conde de Loon Arnold IV vendió esta área a las cistercienses de la abadía de Herkenrode. Hasta entonces, había estado en posesión de familias nobles. Ellos dejaron talar parte del bosque y construyeron estanques para la acuicultura de carpas herbívoras. Otros estanques fueron creados por la extracción de mineral de hierro en el siglo XIX.
