En el Guido Gezellepad, cerca de las históricas torres de Broel, hay un embarcadero disponible para la navegación de recreo. En el período del 1 de abril al 31 de octubre, puedes amarar durante un máximo de 10 días consecutivos. En el período del 1 de noviembre al 31 de marzo, puedes amarar por un período más largo. Aquí, en el Guido Gezellepad, sólo pueden amarar embarcaciones más pequeñas, ya que deben poder pasar por debajo del puente. Los barcos más grandes pueden atracar en el embarcadero de la Handelskaai, un poco más río arriba. El encantador paseo peatonal le da a este lugar un carácter acogedor e invita a los navegantes de recreo a explorar el centro de la ciudad.
