La batalla de las Ardenas fue una gran ofensiva alemana, lanzada a finales de la Segunda Guerra Mundial , a través de los densos bosques y montañas de la región de las Ardenas de Bélgica —y más concretamente de Valonia, de ahí su nombre en francés, Bataille des Ardennes—, Francia y Luxemburgo en el Frente Occidental. La Wehrmacht dio a la ofensiva el nombre en clave Operación Wacht am Rhein por el himno patriótico alemán Die Wacht am Rhein.
