Seis tilos están plantados como vegetación de pantalla en una granja al otro lado de la calle. Los tilos holandeses están podados y se encuentran en una pequeña cuneta entre la calle y un prado. En lugares elevados, los edificios fueron protegidos contra las inclemencias del tiempo y el viento con árboles y filas de árboles. Se utilizaron tilos para esta aplicación porque tienen un dosel muy denso y además se podían utilizar como proveedor de leña, madera de construcción, madera de uso y forraje de hojas.
