En Villers-La-Ville se encuentra la "Abbaye Notre-Dame De Villers". Estas son las ruinas de lo que una vez fue una abadía cisterciense. En lo profundo del valle del Thyle, que aquí ha esculpido un paisaje casi ardenés, se encuentran los restos para admirar.
La abadía fue fundada en 1146 por San Bernardo, que más tarde fue canonizado, y a lo largo de los años se ha convertido en una de las abadías más singulares de toda Europa Occidental. La ruina tiene más de 15 ha de superficie y la cervecería del siglo XIII pertenece a los edificios monásticos más impresionantes de Bélgica.
