Balgerhoeke es una aldea en la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental. La aldea se encuentra a lo largo del canal Schipdonk en la frontera de Eeklo con Adegem. La vivienda del lado oeste del canal Schipdonk se adhiere a la aldea, pero forma parte de Adegem. Balgerhoeke es una parroquia independiente. Aunque al pasar por Balgerhoeke se tiene la impresión de ser un verdadero municipio, Balgerhoeke nunca ha sido un municipio independiente.
