Este banco está en la única calle por donde los ciclistas pueden cruzar el Lippensgoed .

Un poco más adelante se cruzan el GR129 y el GR131 . El GR129 pasa "a través de Bélgica" y cubre 573 km desde Brujas hasta Arlon. El GR131 se denomina "Brugs Ommeland - Ypres Saillant" y tiene una longitud de 142 km.

En el siglo XX, Bulskampveld era propiedad principalmente de la familia Lippens hasta que vendieron la finca, incluido el castillo, a la provincia de Flandes Occidental en 1970. El castillo tiene un centro de visitantes y también hay un santuario de aves, un museo de maquinaria agrícola y un jardín de hierbas.
