El Pont de Liège es la primera estructura en el Semois.
Su construcción fue necesaria a partir de 1069 para asegurar el paso de la importante ruta comercial entre Verdún y Lieja . Ha sido destruido varias veces por el hielo a la deriva. Se tomó hasta 1598 para un edificio de piedra , que Vauban reforzó 1680 con una obra defensiva sobre la orilla izquierda. En 1778 fue reconstruida.
El puente se llamaba entonces Oude Brug (Puente Viejo) . El atractivo de este puente se vio reforzado en 1939 con la instalación de dos impresionantes estatuas en la margen derecha. Uno en memoria de Godfried van Bouillon y el otro dedicado a San Arnaldo.
Ahora encontramos la estatua de Godefroy de Bouillon al pie del castillo, la otra está en la colina "Auclin".
El nuevo puente data de 1951.
