La capilla fue construida en 1954 y está hecha de ladrillo pintado de blanco.
Hay bancos detrás de una puerta de hierro en este lugar de culto dedicado a Nuestra Señora de los Pobres . También hay una zona de estar de piedra en el exterior.
Se encuentra en Sister Clarastraat. Sor Clara (Ichtegem, 1870-1932) trabajó en el pueblo y en la escuela De Reiger. Había muchos trabajadores de temporada y franceses.
