El Sevensmolen, que fue construido alrededor de 1745 en Helchteren, actualmente se encuentra en el Heesakkerpark. Este es el punto más alto de Overpelt.

En 1853 fue trasladado al centro de Overpelt. Los agricultores locales tenían su grano molido allí hasta finales de la década de 1950. El municipio compró el molino en 1962 y lo transfirió al nuevo parque Heesakkerheide dos años después. Las restauraciones siguieron en 1964 y 1989. El molino es operado por vzw Levende Molens Noord-Limburg.
