Bouillon es un centro turístico; en verano hay mucho turismo de camping a lo largo del río Semois, que serpentea alrededor del antiguo núcleo de la ciudad. El pueblo está dominado por el castillo medieval de Godofredo de Bouillon. Este se encuentra en las cercanías del Semois. Este castillo se originó en el siglo VIII. A finales del siglo XI (1082), Godofredo de Bouillon vende el castillo al príncipe-obispo de Lieja por 3 marcos de oro y 1300 marcos de plata. Con ese dinero quiere financiar su contribución a la primera cruzada.
