Bello paseo (aproximadamente 90% sin pavimentar) a través de los bosques de Hal. Esta caminata consta de dos lazos de 6 km que se pueden dividir perfectamente.
El fuerte de Oelegem tiene una construcción en forma de trapecio rodeada por un foso de 40-50 m de ancho. Su superficie era de aproximadamente 20 hectáreas. El fuerte es un llamado fuerte de primera clase (al igual que Koningkshooikt) con un armamento y potencia de fuego superiores a los fuertes de segunda clase (como Breendonk, Broechem, Ertbrand, entre otros).
