En 2013, el programa de televisión turístico "Vlaanderen Vakantieland" salió en busca de la caminata más hermosa en Flandes. Esta fresca caminata en el bosque en el Ommeland de Brujas fue una de las nominadas. La caminata transcurre por la red de senderos en y alrededor de Bulskampveld, con sus gigantescos bosques y vastas reservas naturales para vagar sin fin. Variedad en la cima de esta ruta, pasando por la pintoresca Doomskerke, por granjas históricas y pequeñas capillas.
Las salidas se pueden realizar en cualquier lugar a lo largo de la ruta, pero hay un estacionamiento en la iglesia de Doomkerke.
