Ruta de Natuurpunt a través de Mechels Broek. Una caminata circular que comienza y termina en el Centro de Visitantes de Natuurpunt, cerca del puente sobre el Dijle en Muizen. Allí también hay posibilidad de aparcamiento.
Es una caminata circular de 5 km con dos opciones de extensión: una hacia el mirador, otra hacia el observatorio en la orilla del agua. La caminata más larga sería de 7,8 km.
Esta zona rica en agua alberga entre otros, numerosas especies de patos: Pato Silvestre, Pato Cuchara, Pato Bergante, Pato Flecha, Pato Reloj, Pato Cabeciblanco, Pato de Mesa, Pato Invernador, Pato Almizclero. El Pato Almizclero es una especie de pato que está notablemente presente aquí. El Grupo de Estudio de la Naturaleza Beneden Dijle caminó aquí e inventarió las aves acuáticas.
