Las Ardenas belgas ofrecen innumerables rutas de senderismo idílicas para los amantes del aire libre y la naturaleza. Una de las caminatas cortas más impresionantes que he hecho en los últimos años es, sin duda, el valle de la Hoëgne cerca de Solwaster (Jalhay). La zona es romántica y salvaje a la vez, con sus innumerables cascadas idílicas, puentes de madera, bosques y campos.
