El paisaje La zona al noreste del valle de Schijn forma el límite de dos áreas diferentes. Es un área ligeramente ondulada que representa la transición entre la llanura más baja del Escalda y los Kempen más altos. También es el límite entre la ciudad y el paisaje más abierto alrededor de la ciudad. Este límite se destaca porque dentro de la ciudad el área está en gran parte ocupada por diversas actividades recreativas (deporte, huertos,...) mientras que fuera de Amberes se ha mantenido más el carácter agrícola tradicional. Esta transición se puede experimentar bien durante la caminata.
